Sports star Takefusa Kubo was born on 4 June 2001. The young athlete was born in Asao-Ku, Kawasaki in Japan. Takefusa is a Japanese citizen.

Adolescence and Early Life

Takefusa Kubo is professional soccer player of Japanese descent. He is known to play the attacking midfielder position. Takefusa is currently playing for FC Tokyo. In 2019 Takefusa signed a contract with the Spanish Club Real Madrid.

Takefusa joined the local club FC Persimmon at the age of 7 in 2008.

Takefusa   was awarded MVP at FC Barcelona Soccer Camp in 2009.

Takefusa was choosen as a member of FC Barcelona School team in April 2010.

Takefusa also went on to feature in the Sodexo European Russia Cup held in Belgium. Sadly Takefusa ‘team finished third, but he was awarded MVP at the tournament.

Later on Takefusa joined Kawasaki Frontale youth system in 2010.

In the wake of August 2011, the young athlete attempted FC Barcelona’s youth academy, La Masia, owing to an invitation after passing a test.

Shortly after that Takefusa became the top goal scorer in his first full season 2012-13 with 74 goals in 40 games. He was promoted to Barca Infantil A (U14) in his third full season.

Takefusa had a twist of faith when it was revealed that his club Barcelona had violated FIFA’s international transfer policy for U18 youths. This left him traumatized as he was unable to play anymore.

Undefeated by his inability to play for Barcelone, He later signed with FC Tokyo’s junior youth team in 2016.

romotion to the club’s senior team. H was only 15 years at the time. He also went on to make his J League record debut later that year.

Takefusa later became the youngest player to score in the J League in April 2017 scoring against Cerezo Osaka U23. He was 15 years, 10 months old at the time.

 

Takefusa made his debut for the first team in J League YBC Levain Cup in May 2017.

In November 2017, FC Tokyo announced that the team improved his contract with the club and will pay him as a first-team member.

He became a regular starter for FC Tokyo from the start of 2019 season.

He later joined Yokohama F. Marinos on a half-year loan in August 2018.

He scored in his Marinos debut against Vissel Kobe.

In the wake of June 2019, Takefusa  officially became a member of Spanish club Real Madrid after he  signed  a 6-year contract on 14 June 2019.

Takefusa Kubo is no stranger to the Japan national team, his representation cuts across different age levels. He has represented Japan U15, U16, U17, U19, and U20 national teams.

Takefusa  was chosen  as part of the  Japan U20 national team for the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup.

He has also been  named in the Japanese senior team for the upcoming 2019 Copa America.

He made his senior team debut for Japan national team on 9 June 2019 in a friendly match against El Salvador.
