Jann-Fiete Arp (born 6 January 2000) is a professional footballer of German descent, who plays as a forward for 2. Bundesliga side Hamburger SV and has also played for Germany his home country U17’s.
Adolescence and Early Life
Arp was plunged into limelight when had his debut for Hamburger SV in the Nordderby against rivals Werder Bremen, where he came as the 89th-minute substitute for Bobby Wood. This made him the first Bundesliga player born in the 2000s.
On 28 October 2017, Arp had his first shot when he scored his first Bundesliga goal against Hertha BSC. Thus, he is also the first Bundesliga player born in the 2000s who scored.
The young star was part of the German under-17 team, netting seven goals during the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
Later that year, Arp played in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he netted five goals.
